Cricket runs every Thursday afternoon during Terms 1 and 4. Registrations open in Term 3 for Term 4, and in Term 4 for the following Term 1 — so keep an eye out for when sign-ups go live!

• Opportunity to participate in cricket games on a Friday night

• Caregivers are required to pick tamariki up from Linfield Park at 5 pm.

• New for 2026/27— we've teamed up with Heathcote Cricket Club to give tamariki the exciting opportunity to take part in Friday night cricket games! We will also be looking to enter a team in Saturday cricket for the 2026/2027 summer season — watch this space!

Touch Rugby is an exciting and fun-filled event held every Tuesday afternoon at Linfield Park, and we'd love to see you there!

Schools are welcome to enter teams across all grades, from Year 0 through to Year 8, making it a fantastic opportunity for tamariki of all ages to get active, build friendships, and enjoy some friendly competition.

Entry forms will be sent out to schools the term before the event, so keep an eye out and get your teams registered early.

Games run from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm — so come on down after school and join in the fun. All players, supporters, and spectators are welcome!

Games of Ranginui is a four‑week rugby experience for tamariki to come down to Linfield Park in Term 1 and give rugby a go in a fun, supportive environment. The programme is designed to introduce basic skills through movement, play, and simple game‑based activities that keep kids engaged and enjoying themselves.

The programme Each encourages tamariki to try new things, be active with friends, and experience the excitement of rugby in a relaxed, low‑pressure setting.

Whether they’re completely new to the game or just keen to get more involved, Games of Ranginui offers a welcoming space for every child to join in and enjoy the spirit of the game.
