What is it?
After a hugley successful pilot in 2023, Tamai Sports & Linwood RFC have once again come together to offer a FREE Rugby festival for local primary & intermediate students in Christchurch. However, this time the Festivals will run every Friday for 4 weeks in March!!
Fridays evenings 3:30pm-6:30pm on the main field
1/3/24-22/3/24 (4 Fridays)
Year 0-2 (8 Fields) 3:30pm - 4:00pm
Year 3-4 (4 Fields) 4:05pm - 4:40pm
Year 5-6 (4 Fields) 4:45pm - 5:30pm
Year 7-8 (2 Fields) 5:40pm - 6:30pm
The year 0-2 would work via having different skills on each of the 8 fields. Tamariki can be moved around the fields to match their ability.
We will provide referees on the fields, therefore teams only have to have someone looking after the sideline. Registrations would be open to both teams and individual. Individual registrations would be placed into teams matching their age and provided a coach.
